Laycocks Retain AA Grade for BRC Global Standard
T.W. Laycock & Sons Ltd have just been awarded an AA grade for Version 7 of the BRC Global Standard.
All of the management and staff at Laycocks, specifically the quality team, have invested a lot of time, effort and attention to retain the site’s AA grade, which is the highest rating that can be awarded.
We are extremely proud to have been awarded the top grade again, after a lot of commitment and dedication to quality throughout the year.
Quality, and safety are of great importance to our business, and to our customers businesses also. As such, being certified and recognised with this accreditation is something we are proud of, and we hope it gives our customers confidence that we can provide only the best products and service, backed up by full traceability and a proven safety system.

Great Northern Pork Pie Competition
On Sunday November 30th 2014 T.W. Laycock & Sons Ltd. sponsored the sixth annual Great Northern Pork Pie Competition, which ran alongside the Christmas prime stock show at Skipton Auction Mart.
The day provided an opportunity for us to meet with existing customers as well as a chance to meet face to face with other pie producers & butchers from across Yorkshire & Lancashire.
There was a strong charity element to the day, with pork pies, sausage rolls, scotch eggs & fruit cakes, all donated by competition participants , being auctioned off. Over £3000 was raised for the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope & Brooklands School in Skipton.
Ingfield Farm Shop of Southowram were crowned Supreme champion with their speciality eating pie. They also won two other of the five competition classes with their traditional pork pie and sausage roll.
